Technical Selection Parameters
Flow Rate
Measured in GPM (gallons per minute) or LPM (liters per minute). Critical for ensuring adequate coverage without excessive water or chemical waste.
Operating Pressure
Standardized in PSI (pounds per square inch) or bar. Nozzles are pressure-sensitive; selecting the wrong pressure range can lead to clogging or inefficient performance.
Spray Pattern
Flat fan, full cone, hollow cone, solid stream, misting, or fogging. The pattern must match the physical geometry of the target surface or equipment.
Droplet Size
Defined by the nozzle's orifice and pressure. Smaller droplets are essential for misting and humidification, while larger droplets are required for heavy-duty cleaning.
Material Selection
Brass, stainless steel, or high-grade plastics. Material choice is dictated by chemical compatibility and resistance to high-temperature environments.
